An important factor in ensuring the accuracy of the Work Environment Laboratory’s report is to estimate the uncertainty of results from assessments and tests. Test data quality is determined by their utility and reliability. Data quality utility levels should determine whether analysis outcomes produce reliable decisions. Furthermore, the level of reliability and validity is determined by a comparison of test results with CRM (Certified Reference Material) and the level of measurement uncertainty.
In order to achieve these objectives, PT. Oshindo Medika Pratama conducted a training session on August 1-2, 2022, entitled “Calculation of Uncertainty and Validation of Industrial Hygiene Assessment and Testing Results”. In this training, Ir. Anwar Hadi, MEM served as the speaker, with all staff of PT. Oshindo Medika Pratama as participants.
The first day of training consisted of an explanation of the basic concepts and materials. Using the results of the examination and testing according to the verification of the analytical method, the second day continued the practice of applying the material in the form of a case study. During the activity, participants had the opportunity to discuss uncertainty calculation and other pre-post analytical preparation requirements with the speaker.
The implementation of this training is a part of our commitment to improving service quality in delivering reports and test results to customers.
